Kindness Kits
Through our Kindness Kit program, Communities Care has profoundly impacted the lives of numerous young individuals facing adversity. Our commitment to providing essential items and genuine support remains unwavering since the program's inception. Over the months, we've distributed over 600 kidness kit packages to youth across various shelters and immigration centers. These packages include essential hygiene products like toothbrushes, toothpaste, body wash, and shampoo, ensuring that basic needs are met.
Empowerment Workshops
The Empowerment Workshops at Communities Care are designed to equip youth with the skills and knowledge they need to navigate various aspects of life successfully. From resume building to understanding financial aid like OSAP, our workshops cover topics essential for personal and academic development. Each workshop is carefully crafted to meet the unique needs of our participants, ensuring they leave feeling empowered and equipped with valuable skills.
Youth Connect
At Communities Care, we understand the importance of helping young people connect and thrive. Our "Youth Connect" initiative empowers youth to contribute to their community while developing vital skills. Through volunteer events like organizing community lunches and neighborhood cleanups, youth enhance their leadership and teamwork abilities.
